On 15 May 2025, MHCLG launched a consultation on changes to the Local Government Pension Scheme in England and Wales with the intention to improve fairness in and access to the LGPS. You can find a link to the consultation documents on the Scheme consultations page. The consultation closes on 7 August 2025.
